New TFKO "Girls on Skates" Program Powered by OSEG EDI Grant

TFKO was the recipient of a generous EDI Grant from OSEG (Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group) in 2024.  With this grant, we were able to expand our Learn to Skate programming, as well as programming for those who were continuing to develop their skills from previous sessions with TFKO.  We had over 30 girls participate in this highly successful program, which continued right into 2025!

As with all TFKO programming, we provided each student with all needed gear as their own for the season, including skates, helmets, and gloves. We provided nourishing snacks so that participants had the energy to participate to the fullest.  And you can see from the smiles on their faces that they did!
